s5289 An oak desk with one long over two short drawers with exposed dovetail and through wedge tenon construction and carved loop handles, designed by Peter Waals as Head of Furniture at Loughborough College and made by students under his supervision for Hazelrigg Hall, circa 1935, 76cm (30in) high, 114cm (45in) wide, 55cm (21.5in) deep.

S3654 An imposing Arts & Crafts oak pedestal desk with carved corners and handles, the pedestals with 4 drawers to one side and 3 drawers to the other, and with panelled sides and back with two cupboards to the back and an extending slide to the right -hand side. It dates circa 1910 and measures 30in (77.5cm) high, 41.5in. (105.5cm) deep 72in (183cm) wide, knee height is 28in (69cm). Newly re-leathered with hand dyed and tooled hide.

 

S3948 A fine Arts & Crafts mahogany secretaire with heart cut-out motifs to the side, side shelves and fitted interior above a drawer, attributed to Liberty, circa 1900. 43.25in (111cm) high, 39.25in (100cm) wide, 12.5in (32cm) deep,

 

SR593ML  A Queensland silky oak D-shaped kneehole desk with four graduated drawers to each pedestal and curved central drawer, with carved shell shaped handles in walnut and leather inset to the top designed and made by Betty Joel, numbered 4295, circa 1930. 77cm (30.5in) high, 91.5cm (36in) wide, 54.5cm (21.25in) deep.

 

 

S4986 An oak fall–front bureau with integral bookshelves to the sides and repoussé copper panels and drawer handles, attributed to Norman & Stacey. See Page 88 ‘Dictionary of 19th Century Furniture Design’ by Edward Joy. Circa 1905, 57in (145cm) high, 43.5in (110.5cm) wide and 17.75in (45cm) deep
