ANNUAL EXHIBITION OF Contemporary BRITISH ART JANUARY 2007
HILARY HANLEY
Convergence Etching and aquatint (edition of 25) 21.5 x 16.5cm 2006
Simplicity of composition has been Hilary’s main concern when making these etchings. She has chosen fruit (mostly pears) for their shapes, juxtaposing these with the abstract spaces around them.
Exhibitions include: The annual open print exhibition of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers at the Bankside Gallery and the Mall Galleries, the Royal Academy Summer Shows and other mixed shows in England and the USA. Hilary also shows regularly with other members of Camden Printmakers.
