In 2005 The Millinery Works mounted a solo exhibition of Eric Rimmington’s paintings of the sea. For the current show he has selected three further canvases; two with calm water - the Thames at Chelsea and a South Coast beach at low tide - and one of animated incoming waves on a windy day.
‘Growing up in a seafaring family, Eric Rimmington’s fascination with the coast has been honed over the years, culminating in his magical views painted in a single sitting’.
