From 1997 through to 2003, during the months of July & August we sponsored exhibitions for students from London colleges. Typically these would include: City & Islington Access to Art and Design, London College of Printing 1st year BA photography, Middlesex University 2nd year BA sculpture, University of East London 3rd year BA fine art and Wimbledon School of Art MA in drawing. A panel of judges
made up of artist, dealers, critics and curators including Peter
Blake RA, Humphrey Ocean RA, Jefferson Smith, Frank Stanton,
Alex Noble, Nicholas Usherwood, Gerard Forde and the late Gordon House
reviewed each exhibition. Students were awarded certificates
and cash prizes for their work. |
