C F A Voysey
A black painted iron fire surround with three raised hearts motifs below the shelf designed in 1899 by C F A Voysey for The Orchard, Chorley Wood, Buckinghamshire. Made by Falkirk Iron Company.This fireplace is from an important Voysey interior, now lost, designed for Miss McKay, 30 Shrewsbury Road, Birkenhead, Cheshire in 1902.
