CELEBRATING HEAL'S BICENTENARY

11. s5168 An oak Letchworth dining table and 6 ladder-back chairs with rush seats, circa 1905, table 77cm (30.25in) high, 183cm (72in) long, 76cm (30in) wide, the chairs 109cm (43in) high.

12. s5229a A set of four limed oak Letchworth ladderback side chairs with rush seats, designed by Ambrose Heal, circa 1905, 109cm (43in) high.
13. s5132 A unusual oak Letchworth sideboard with three drawers above an open curtained storage space, (curtains replaced), circa 1905, 89cm (35in) high, 122cm (48in) wide, 44cm (17.5in) deep

14. s5315 Limed oak compendium with two chamfered panelled doors and latch key over four graduated drawers with long door to one side, designed by Ambrose Heal, circa 1910, 122cm (48in) high, 122cm (48in) wide, 45cm (17.5in) deep.

 

15. s5231 A rare mahogany sideboard with ebony cross-banding to the drawers and doors and ebony lattie back, shown as no: 678 in Heal’s period catalogue 1916, labelled, 136cm (53.5in) high, 
152cm (59.75in) wide, 53cm (20.75in) deep.Only 15 of these sideboards were ever made.

16. s5245 A rare mahogany wall shelf with ebonised line inlay, shaped top and six compartments, circa 1920, labelled, 51cm (20in) high, 76 cm (30in) width, 18cm (7in) deep.
17. s5266 An oak ‘Owl’ style cabinet of narrow proportions with two roundels above four graduated drawers and with moulded cornice, circa 1920, 138cm (54.5in) high, 80cm (31.5in) wide, 51cm (20in) deep.
18. s4591 An oak Cotswold style sideboard with shaped upstand, sledge feet and carved inset roundels to the  drawers, designed by Ambrose Heal, circa 1910, 107cm (42in) high, 152cm (60in) wide, 50cm (19.5in) deep.

 

19. s5183 An oak dresser with glazed doors above a row of pegs over two drawers above two panelled doors, circa 1920, 190cm (75in) high, 115cm (45in) wide, 51cm (20in) deep.

20. s5131 An oak two door cupboard above a chest of four graduated drawers with raised stiles to the four corners, labelled, circa 1920, 149cm (58.5in) high, 91cm (35in) wide, 51cm (28in) deep.
