8. An important oak and inlaid Arts & Crafts 'Daffodil' sideboard with copper handles designed by H M Baillie Scott and made by John P. White at  Pyghtle Works. Circa 1905. 168cm (66.25) high x 170cm (67) wide x 56cm (22). The original Baillie Scott drawing for this dresser is illustrated in the Art Journal 1904. Also  illustrated Furniture made at the Pyghtle Works, Bedford, by Baillie Scott, 1901 and Truth Beauty and Design.

This piece was exhibited at Cambridge, Kettle´s Yard, ´Baillie Scott´, September-October 1995

 

 

9. An oak Arts & Crafts three tier buffet with brass handles to the drawers of the centre section and relief carved English roses attributed to Ambrose Heal for Heal & Son. Circa 1895. 122.5 cm (48) high 122.5cm (48) wide and 52cm (20.5) deep. See Jeremy Cooper, plate 648, Victorian & Edwardian Interiors.

 

 

 

10. An oak two tiered Arts & Crafts copper studded and bound jardinière. Circa 1900. 93cm (36) high.

 

 

11. Well proportioned Oak Arts & Crafts sideboard with shaped frieze to the mirrored back and brass strap hinges and handles in the manner of E W Godwin, stamped Liberty & Co to the drawer. Circa 1885. 146cm (57.5) high x 151cm (59) wide x 61cm (24) deep. See page 259 Susan Weber Soros, The Secular Furniture of E W Godwin.

 

12. A scrubbed oak Cotswold style dining table with  chamfered, pegged and dowelled construction designed and made by Robin Nance (Seagull man). Circa 1935.74cm (29) high x 80cm (31.5) wide x 183cm (77) long.
13. A set of six oak Cotswold Style arched ladder back dining chairs with upholstered drop-in seats for Heal & Son, labelled. Circa 1934. Illustrated Heal & Son 'Better Furniture for Better Times' catalogue and Susanna Goodden, A History of heals page 72. 88cm (34.5) high
14. A sweet chestnut Cotswold style nine drawer desk on sledge feet, with exposed dovetail and tenon construction, studio of Romney Green, circa 1925.

15. An ash Cotswold Style ‘Pass’ ladderback side chair with four shaped splats to the back, designed by Ernest Gimson in 1907, early twentieth century.
