14. A ‘Moorish’ four-seater sofa in walnut with inlaid ebony, ivory and mother of pearl and Musharabiyeh turnings and upholstered in original stamped green silk to the back, circa 1885. 52in (132cm) high x 71in (180cm) wide x 23in (59cm) deep.

16. A ‘Moorish’ three fold screen in walnut with Musharabiyeh turnings to the upper two sections and raised panels to the lower section. The upper middle section has a lamp holder and the outer two sections have opening panels, circa 1885. Similar examples illustrated: ‘Liberty a Biography of a Shop’ by Alison Adburgham. 61¾in (157cm) high x 72¾in (185cm) wide x 6in (15cm) deep.

20. The ‘Valkyrie’ upright grand piano in oak with pewter and ebony inlaid stylised flower motif and steel strap hinges and feet, designed by Leonard F. Wyburd, and made by J. J. Hopkinson for Liberty, circa 1902. Illustrated in the Studio Year Book 1902. 51in (130cm) high x 73in (186cm) wide x 28in (71cm) deep.

24. The ‘Celtic’ sideboard in English oak with carved entrellic design and Celtic hinges and with innovative integral electrical lighting, the metalwork designed by Archibald Knox, labelled Liberty & Co London. Illustrated in ‘Liberty, the Classic Years’ by Mervyn Levy, circa 1901. 76in (193cm) high x 88in (224cm) wide x 30in (76cm) deep.

25. A nursing chair in stained oak with stylised tulip slats inlaid with mother of pearl and boxwood, circa 1905. 36in (91cm) high x 19in (48cm) wide x 18in (46cm) deep.
