1. An Aesthetic Movement walnut and gilt bookcase with three drawers, gilded and carved
panels to the central cupboard and two open sections, made by Gillows & Co stamped to the drawer No.10970, design attributed to
Bruce J Talbert, circa 1875. 61in 155cm high, 68.5in 174cm wide, 18in 46cm deep. Picture above.

2. An Aesthetic Movement walnut two drawer library table with finely turned
decoration and original leather top stamped with geometric design and
cross-banded with inlaid diamond decoration, the design attributed to
Bruce J Talbert, made by Holland & Sons and stamped to the drawer, circa 1875. 30in 76cm high, 42in 107cm wide, 25.5in 65cm deep. Picture above.

3. A pair of walnut Aesthetic Movement dining chairs with upholstered seat, designed by
Bruce J Talbert and made by Gillows & Co, circa 1870. 34.5in 88cm high. This design was known as Talbert’s ‘standard
dining chair’, see example in his book “Fashionable Furniture”. One chair pictured
above front.

4. A mahogany adjustable-back, reclining upholstered armchair with turned side supports and finials to the back, in the manner of
Philip Webb and made by J S Scholbred, circa 1875. 38in 97cm high.

6. A pair of Gothic Reform oak open armchairs in the manner of
A W N Pugin, with chamfering to the legs, arms and back, covered in maroon leather (one original and one recovered), circa 1875.
