An exhibition held at the Millinery Works in 2006
After thirty five years in senior management John changed careers to become a professional artist. He spent three years studying with the Open College of the Arts and attended various summer schools and programmes at the Slade School and Central St Martin’s College before having his first exhibit in the Not The Royal Academy Show at Llewellyn Alexander in the Cut, and his first one man show at the Oxo Tower Gallery in 1999. This was followed by participation in various group shows including the House of Lords (1999), Angela Flowers Small is Beautiful, Cork Street (2003) and The Millinery Works Gallery Contemporary British Art (2006) as well as one man exhibitions in Corsica (2001) and Islington (2003)
