An important, oak Gothic Reform armchair, chamfered all round, with tusked tenons construction, carved floret finials to the back, carved initials with roundels to the side cross-stretchers and inset brass castors, designed by A W N Pugin, attributed maker J G Grace, circa 1850, newly upholstered in silk Gothic pattern fabric, 106cm (42in) high, 72cm (29in) max wide, 76cm (30in) max deep.
