GUSTAV STICKLEY A rare set of  eight oak American Arts & Crafts ladder-back dining chairs, design no. 965, six sides, two arms, with drop-in seats newly re-upholstered in 100% linen, on period porcelain castors to the legs, designed in 1902, made by The Craftsman Workshops. The chairs have four ladders, the top one being shaped, and two rails around the side and back of the seat. The polish has been cleaned and waxed; one of the side chairs has had a small repair to one of the legs. Arms : 109cm (43in) high, 43cm (17in) seat high, 70cm (27.5in) wide, 60cm (23.5in) deep; Sides : 101.5cm (40in) high, 43cm (17in) seat high, 48cm (19in) wide, 46cm (18in) deep.
