Peter Waals (1870 - 1937) A fine and important solid, faded rosewood, bookcase of two glazed doors over a pair of panelled doors, adjustable shelves, chamfered stiles and glazing bars, with ebony and holly inlay, with exposed dovetails to the arched plinth, panelled and dowel construction to the back, dowel construction to the doors, attributed to Peter Waals and his workshop, circa 1920, 200cm (79in) high, 103cm (40.5in) max width at plinth, 49cm (19in) max depth, 25.5cm (10in) internal bookshelf depth to the top section.
