Designed by Ernest Gimson, made by Peter Waals A figured walnut two door wardrobe over two drawers, three stepped fielded panels to the sides, moulded edges, shaped apron on chamfered sledge feet, the doors with multi faceted raised fielded panels, each surrounded by holly and ebony barber-pole inlay, the drawer fronts with raised, fielded panels, hand cut hinges and shaped and chased drop handles to the doors, octagonal plates and ring handles to the drawers, all made by Alfred Bucknell, cedar lined drawers, cedar shelves with moulded beading edges to the interior, Hobbs & Co locks, circa 1910, 204cm (80in) high, 112cm (44in) max wide, 63cm (25in) deep.
